The Uniroyal Tire brand is one of the oldest in the world, having started business back in 1892 as the U.S. Rubber Company. It is now owned by Michelin (though in Europe, it is owned by Continental). Most of their tires are in the "Tiger Paw" line, which are generally rated very well by drivers. See below for the ratings of Uniroyal tires, by performance category.

The Tiger Paw Touring NT tire has the best reviews, with a high 4.6 out of 5 rating. For SUV/light truck tires, the Laredo Cross Country Tour has a very high 4.8 out of 5 rating, albeit with only 16 reviews as of 9/5/2016.

Ultra High Performance All-Season

Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ
4.4 out of 5 based on 83 user ratings as of 12/4/17.

This is a UHP A/S tire that is more affordable than most in the category. Reviewers say what they love most is that it is a quiet tire. With a UTQG treadwear rating of 400, it is likely to be similar wearing as most other UHP tires. We would also take a look at our current favorite, the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 A/S and the Kumho Ecsta 4X II as our UHP value favorite.
