Nexen Tire started in 1942 as a Korean tire company, and did not have a large Western presence until 2005. Since then they have rapidly grown to become an internationally known tire manufacturer. While they make tires for all driving styles, they are known for sponsoring drifting events such as Formula Drift.
Their tires are generally well reviewed and cost less than the equivalent offerings from the big name brands. Read on to see how Nexen tires rate in different performance categories.
Update (9/14/16): Nexen has just received some big news. The N'Fera RU1 tire was selected to be the new OEM tire for the Porsche Cayenne (255/55R18 size). This should elevate Nexen's reputation by consumers and the tire industry alike.
